1. Giving is so much fun! I love finding the perfect gift for someone. I also love making notes of what friends and family mention wanting or needing throughout the year and then giving it to them for Christmas!
2. Receiving is nice, especially when its thoughtful and useful.
3. The best gift I ever received was the amazing but simple Christmas my high school boyfriend surprised me with on Christmas morning. Money was tight with my mom and I that year, which he knew, and he went the extra mile to let me know he was thinking about us. I’ll never forget the kindness he showed that year and I hope to do the same for others me in life one day.
4. The best gift I ever gave was hmmmm I don’t know. Perhaps the photo collage I made for my bestie a few years back?
5. Something intangible that I wish I could receive is I’d really love to fly or sing or draw.
6. Something intangible that I wish I could give is sunshine on a rainy day– everyone and everything needs the sun to thrive and grow. I would love to be able to shine the sun on those in need any day of the week.
7. The one gift I always wanted as a child, but never got was hmmmm, I don’t know. I was pretty spoiled. I did always want a tent, but never got one.
